*edit: for context, I own a Selmer Paris Series II alto, a Selmer Omega (Selmer USA, Taiwanese bulit) alto, a Yamaha 475 Soprano, A Keilwerth SX90R Tenor and a Tenor Madness TM Custom (Taiwanese built, USA assembled), and owned a Yamaha 62 tenor that I sold to buy the Keilwerth - I wish I would have kept the 62. The quality of the LaVoix horns is not as good as Selmer Paris, which is not as good as Yamaha or Yanagisawa. There are some decent Taiwanese horns out there (I own one), but they are not built with the same standards as Yamaha or Yanagisawa horns, and will require more maintenance due to 1) poor regulation from the factory and/or 2) soft/poor quality brass that = more time going to the shop to get everything back into playing shape. If you want something that's going to last with superior build quality go with the Yamaha or a Yani.
